2004 Blob died? Terminal?
Hi guys, my friend has a 2004 blob, 120k and the rad has blown, the subframe is very rotten but the body is really good, stuck for ideas, any opinions would be very helpful. What should she do with her car? Thanks in advance.

I got a very tidy front subframe from MB Developments for about £50 delivered and a radiator is a cheap fix too.
A lot of blobs will have crusty subframes but it's easily sorted, rather that than a rusty body.

Mate what you just outlined is no reason to get rid of the car. Like others have said can be fixed and is worth keeping.
Now my classic was in a right state

My mate has these bits in his shed, how much do you want for the car as my missus is slowly being convinced that she needs her own rather than using my STI all the time (even tho I bought her an Audi A1 haha).

Also to bear in mind, it will need a clutch very soon, if the heads get done then a water pump, cam belt kit and what else, surely amounts to too much cash? Then saying that she is talking of buying another scoob if this one is terminal.

When you are buying a car things like cambelt etc you take into consideration.
When you own a car things like clutch, cambelt etc are maintenance costs.
Regarding the HG what makes you think its gone it could be related to the radiator.
