Default Launch control

I’m not sure how to put this properly but I’ll try.

Might be better putting up a video to show what I mean, I’ll go have a look.

Anyway, I’ve seen some vids of Impreza’s that sound (when bouncing off the launch rpm) very slow and others have that very quick noise, that’s the best I can describe it

Why is this? What’s done differently.

I’m fairly certain my hatch sti had the slower noise when it was bouncing off the launch limit and the bugeye is the same.

P.s is it something to do with anti lag/pops and bangs?

You can set the rpm so I'm guessing the 'slow' would be 3k and 'fast' 5k? Also the als can be set for how aggressive the pops and bangs are, some systems might be the same for LC.

I can’t remember what the rpm was set at on the hatch but the Bug is set @ 5,250rpm and I reckon that sounds less aggressive than some that I hear.

I had a look on YouTube searching “Impreza launch control” and they seem to be the less aggressive slower sounding but when searching “launch control with anti lag” they sounded more aggressive and like the noise I was thinking of.

Its whether it is Ecutek or Carberry

Ecutek is more lazy like dun, dun, dun once twice per sec.

Carberry is like machinegun depending how its setup.

Spark Cut vs Fuel Cut

The fuel and ignition targets also make a diff

Some build over 1 bar on launch.

https://youtu.be/eLiLrIZnP04 carberry vid of mine

also a vid of mine on quarter with ecutek launch
