my vf48 on a forged motor 2008 Sti hatch made 390bhp with A LOT of associated mods but still was a bit slow to spool.

The SC 38 will spool MUCH earlier and make better boost quicker (real world diving) and make around 400bhp or poss abit more - depending on what boost your u run.

A SC 42 would be a better step up or even a SC 46 - which I went for. On the hatch it made 460 @ 1.6 bar. The same turbo on my 2.35 made around 475 @ 1.6 bar. R membering the car has a lot of mods.

Mon a standard car fitting SC 42 and sportcat plus ecutek would be a great place to start without going silly.
