Default Putting a sports cat on a classic

I've a standard 99MY uk turbo which I want to keep that way, but the back edge of the downpipe is rotting as it joins the centre pipe.
I dont want to go the de-cat route so am considering a sports cat.

Will the EML come on if I do this as I also dont want to remap ?

(car has prodrive ECU as I had a meltdown with an Ecutek fitted in a previous classic so I want low risk!)

It should be grand, I ran my old my99 classic on prodrive ecu and sport cat with no issue for guts of 3yrs..and that was running on 97ron fuel

Worst case scenario you may get an overboost situation and if so then just increase pill size a hair

I have a 1998 model with sports cat and no problems. I did try fitting a sports cat to a blobeye few years ago and threw up error code.
