Snapped front spring on gc8 v3 sti!!
Help guys- today I lowered the car off the jack too quick and snapped a front cool spring.
It all looks a bit of a mess under there and can't drive it. Looks like I will have to get car trailered to garage.
Many recommendations on what front or all round springs to buy for a gc8 1997 v3 sti?
I need the springs to come as soon as possible so that is a huge factor in my choice.
Any help would be great!!

P11L springs are a re-design of the P1 springs.
Dual-rate P11L springs are linear, from 15mm above ride height, to coil bind.
6mm lower front ride height than the P1 spring, with longer free lengths to accommodate inverted and non-inverted struts.
Spring costs depend on quantity manufactured.
As already mentioned, P11L springs come with matching bump stops/dust boots.

The bottom of the suspension looks standard just the top mounts look different..
it has the wide red bowl shape bottom piece which holds the spring.

Cusco make coilovers - P11L springs won't fit.
Picture?
kyb agx struts are red. As are inverted v5sti/v6sti struts - 39mm dia damper rod, as opposed to 22mm dia damper rod, used on non-inverted struts.
V5sti,v6sti,P1 top
Kyb agx bottom

I Spoke to my mechanic. He says I have normal Subaru design shocks, struts and dampeners. These prodrive springs should fit non inverted and inverted?
2pot sent it a pm

When fitting my struts my mechanic said I have non inverted on front and inverted in back - didn't make sense to me to be honest. He was emailing your eibach contact today trying to ensure the springs were fitted as per instructions. He said it all went very well in the end so I am still left baffled as to what I actually have for struts lol. The struts are red and he believes are original to the car and are adjustable to a a degree ( I have added a picture of top mount areas).
When getting tracking done- is there anything specific I should ask for other than make the wheels straight lo
Thabks again - great service l

Get your mechanic to email me - Eibach will tell him to contact me anyway.
The required alignment specs are in the fitting instructions - emailed you on the 26th
P11L springs will fit inverted and non-inverted struts.

Thabks 2pot- my mechanic does not have facilities to do wheel alignments onsite so I will need to take car elsewhere.
I know we all hate quick fit - but technically - if I provide them the data sheet for wheel alignment - they should be able to perform it I would think?
