Default Anyone know anything about these three cars?

Ok, so I know the 2.5 hatch is prone to blowing...Ive seen 2 hatches and a saloon that catch my eye. The saloon hasn't been forged but the other two, apparently, have.

The one at Hurst Cars looks good but quite far away frI'm me so I haven't been to see it yet.

Anyone know anything good or bad about any of them?

Thanks in advance.

1st one ring scooby Clinic and see what they know about what they did.

hurst car, looks ok. but you need to know what its had done,
you see ppl buy what they are told a forge car and find its been don't on a buget and they end up having it re done.

ebay car... hmm.. do you want no air bag, roll cage and harnesses in it and running 450bhp?

Have you driven either the hatch or saloon.
I had a saloon for a while and whilst it was an ok car I really wasn’t keen on the looks. I actually like the hatch more. Im sure there was a change with the hatch after 2010 with the suspension being improved but I could be wrong.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I drove the Saloon and I did like it. I prefer the look of the Saloon to the hatch.
But....I've just been reading the sticky about failed 2.5's that has been going since like 2008. I don't know if I can trust them even if "forged" engines now.

I had my Bugeye WRX for 8 years but it was only 240bhp with no trouble.h Had a Blobeye WRX with my dad for 3 years running only 250bhp and it blew at Oulton Park in Feb.
Ive never had an STi and I feel like I can't really say I'm a Scooby fan until ive owned an STi but o don't want to be disappointed with an engine blow.
Had an 2015 Audi S3 as my daily for the last three years and it was amazing...apart from in the snow...which is why I don't have it anymore.
My car mates are telling me to go Megane RS250 for about £10k...50k miles etc...but you know....when Scooby is life and all that. But if it's going to be a money pit...may aswell lease another S3.

Erm... a new engine in an impreza is going to be waaay cheaper than a 3 year lease on an S3. Surely you’d be £12k anyway over 3 years leasing that.

Always amazes me how people think like this these days - like lease payments and depreciation aren’t real money but an engine build is?!

Granted it’d be a pain to be without the car for a bit if it did happen.

Yeah, I do hear ya! The lease payments were more like £15k! But wow...the S3 is impressive. How much for me to sort the engine out on a 2010 Saloon STi if it went?

A rebuild is 4, 5.5k depending.

all I know is I'd pick the white forged 330s.
saloon second , looks great but needs forged.
heavily modified eBay last (if at all)

Would you not want to save a little more £ and go for a 14+ model? I have a 17 and it's been great so far.

S3 might be nicer inside and a bit quicker but not much "presence" about it.

No offence but I test drove a 2015 before I got the S3.
Why didn't they bulge the arches out?
and
What the hell were they thinking when they put those seats in it? They had gorgeous recaro ones already in the previous shape.
