Default New boostboost gauge reading constant 3 bar with engine on???

Fitted a evo Prosport Boost Gauge and it just reads a constant 3 bar on idle then shut of with ignition on reads 2.4...

Checked wiring all seems good

Wondering if it’s the boost sender??

Any ideas

There should be a little screw on the back of the gauge to calibrate it with. Turn the ignition on but don't start the engine then use the screw to adjust the gauge to zero. Job done
