First of all this is not a for sale post, when the time comes for me to sell the car I will create a proper for sale thread in the correct section. I am posting this in the hope to get some opinions on my following situation.

I have a 2006 Impreza WRX STi which is a Japanese import. I had it imported for me by a company about 2 years ago. A couple of days after I took it to FB Tuning so he could remap it, according to him it was running about 340BHP after the map, although I have no proof of the figures.

I am now looking to sell it due to a change in circumstances (discovered my partner was pregnant with our first child about 2 months after ordering the car). The issue is it is on finance and I know that I would not of been able to sell it for what I paid for it. I'm hoping now I owe about £12,000 so I wondered if there would be any chance of me being able to sell it that sort of price or do you think what I'm asking is too much? All I want is the finance settlement and that's it, not aiming to make any more money from it.

The car is in good condition for the age but obviously has a few age related marks, its done about 87,000 miles. Does have some paperwork and I believe the cambelt is due in the next couple of years (will have to double check). It's had 4 new tyres for the last MOT and the MOT is due in about 6 months, again I would have to check.

Obviously if the car isn't worth the money I'll have to keep it but would be nice to find someone (or dealer) who wants it for the finance settlement. I have attached some pictures.

Have a look on here, these are dealer prices so they may be a thousand or two higher than private sale prices. Could also look on ebay or pistonheads for similar cars.
