Recommendations for engine rebuild Oxon/Warwicks/Northants/Berks/Gloucs area
Have been told that my MY99 Impreza Turbo (so EJ20 engine?) needs a new head gasket. I'm looking for recommendations for engine builders within a reasonable radius of where I am. All suggestions gratefully received...

RM Performance, Banbury. Merlin on here. Although if it is urgent (ie daily driver) I don’t think they will be able to fit you in for a while....

Len Carlyon at Subaru 4 You in Newbury. He built my 2.5 about 3 years ago, then he used Bob Rawle to map it after I ran it in for 1k miles.
Not a cheap sport, but worth it.

Another here for Mark at TD Racing, no bull**** sale stuff, I.e, “ you’ll need this, you’ll need that” so very genuine and I’ve been around. Lol

Thing is, you’ll also get no specific answer to a question like this as all of us have our own tuners, mappers etc. It’ll have to come down to you in the end Ox Scoob
