buying a 2010 wrx
probably been asked before but.....noob
looking to buy a WRX in the UK. not the sti or s or specials...on autotrader the mark 3 2010 looks good value compared to classics. from what I read the curb weight is no different and ej25 engine is the same. body shape is rubbish but not bothered if it's a bargain. are they any good? any advice much appreciated. cheers guys. adam

Hi, no engine isn't the same as a classic. There 2.5 litre not 2.0. There not meant to be as reliable, a lot of people joke about them having chocolate pistons.
There's a YouTube video about it. That's only real problem with them, not forgetting the high tax believe it to be £500 a year.
This coupled with there not as popular as the saloon versions hence price. Is it being sold by a garage?

Tax
Thanks for the reply. I guess road tax is the reason then. About the ej25 are the earlier cars worth looking at? The 2.5 was there since 07 I think. Had a chance to buy a 2006 wagon with ppp on 70k for £5000 kicking myself now......
