Default V1 sti ecu

hello people, I’ve got a classic v1 sti, I blew up my old engine 3years ago, on stripping it down found out it was a incorrect engine, I have now been lucky enough to have bought a chb long engine, it’s all installed but it’s been bored out to 2.1 (not using a bigger crank but bored to have bigger pistons on a 2ltr crank). I’m still using my standard ecu, turbo, manifold, injectors etc,
question 1 is it safe to run, will it run lean or rich?
question 2 if answer to 1 is no what ecu is best to use?
Thanks for any advice

Keep your standard ecu but fit a ESL board to it and then have it mapped to suit your car.
Google ESL impreza and you'll find their site.
