Any North Manchester Haweyes I can look at??
Another strange request!
As I’m looking to possibly buy a hawkeye as a daily driver, I really wanted to have a good look at one up close and specifically check out the boot space as I carry tools and fold up ladders for work.
Are any of our members hawkeye owners and in the North Manchester (I’m in Oldham) area and wouldn’t mind me calling to have a look at the car?
cheers.

if you are looking for a WRX, then agreed, you'll find it a lot more practical to get a wagon. Insurance is better, they're slightly narrower as well. Handle and go every bit as well.
Obviously, if you want to modify or uprate and stuff, then a WRX is a pointless starting point.
Then again, I'm sure there are a few sleepers out htere......

Thanks gents.
I spotted an sti type uk in a carpark yesterday and was cheeky enough to speak to the owner and have a mooch. My ladders fitted nicely in the boot with room left for my tools etc so the size of the saloon is fine.
Just need to find the right car now!

What you looking for? You have any firm ideas? There are always people on here willing/looking to sell if the price/opportunity is right. I’m starting to get bored of paying for 2 Scoobs, 2 houses, 2 females (wife and daughter). I may be looking to get rid of a car! I’d sell the wife as well as it goes as she is easily the greatest expense! Not sure either of my cars would meet your needs though.
Word of warning though, by the sounds of it you want to daily a Scoob for work purposes? That gets expensive quickly! If that’s the case a WRX may be a better option just on running costs alone. People will bang on about STI being superior (which it easily is) but if it’s a work horse your after I personally would buy a WRX. Leave it pretty much standard apart from maybe a better filter and a map and be happy..
if your after the full Subaru experience then STI all the way. Happy hunting.

There's a few of us from Manchester who have a little meet up on Sunday mornings at the Tesco in Failsworth, you're more than welcome to come down and have a look round and also bring yours if/when you buy one.
