I refrained from spending 000’s on a dream car after the last one was stolen for years.
im hoping now my second one is on route I can sleep at night knowing the black market for them is a lot smaller as people want Audi, bmw’s & golfs.
Yes I plan to have a lot of security but don’t want tk be paranoid all the time.

A subaru is very low on the pecking order of cars to steal , own a Bmw Audi Merc Range rover Golf R then be worried , just get some good cat 1 alarm plus mechanical security and a tracker plus fuel cut and you should be fine , there is no way to find out how many scoobys stolen

The most likely way to have a scooby stolen is have your keys nicked from your home address , older scoobys had less security which was why they were nicked plus they were probably one of the fastest cars on the road in the earlier days , now people want to nick golf r etc as worth more money easier to steal as keyless is a bad idea

Mechanic or fixed security is a much better option. If you don't use it all the time take a relay out that stops the car running.
Cheap, difficult to identify unless you start taking the car to bits and only you know which one.
KISS.
