Default Help restoring a WRX 300

Hello,

Not sure if you remember, but I asked advice on a WRX 300 that was for sale locally too me not too long ago. Long story short, I had my mechanic check it out and it was all good, and I came to a fair deal with the old owner, so I now own a WRX 300.

If you remember the thread, it had a few mods done to it, and there was some wear on the seats. I plan to slowly put it back to a, more or less, standard car.

My first question is about the seats. Does anyone know who to refurb the seats? The seats themselves are in very good condition, it's the writing, and logos that have faded. Does anyone have any ideas on how to re-colour these logos?

Last questions, does anyone know the part number for the correct WRX 300 mats?

Don is the parts expert. Should be on here soon. You might struggle to get new original mats. Best keep eye open for good used. Or some on eBay do replica ones.

Any pictures of the car?

I was hoping that Subaru would sell the mats, as I found their prices pretty fair.

Here is a picture of my car. I've order the correct 300 badges so they should be right soon.

As the WRX300 was a Subaru UK "special" any relating part numbers for WRX300 specific parts are held in a Subaru UK only separate database (same as WR1 and P1 etc).

I’m looking for is the 300 badges for the fenders. Does anyone have any, or know where I can get them? I have spoken to Subaru UK, and they said they have been discontinued and do not have any in stock, I’ve looked on Ebay and haven’t been able to find any? So does anyone have any idea where to get them? Next is the carpets, Subaru UK say they use standard WRX carpets, can anyone confirm this?

The mats would appear to be just "WRX impreza" embroidery.

Hi,

No I didn't find any matts or how to refurb the seats yet. I've been doing the odd jobs firsts and will get to the rest at a later date. If you find anything please let me know, as I would be interested too.

I did find some of the 300 wing badges, but I've not put them on the car yet.

I have given up on finding orgional badges, so I had the 300 badges 3D printed. I have finially got around to painting them and putting on clear coat, might need another coat before they go onto the car.

I'll see how they are on the car, and how they hold up.

If they don't work out too well, I'll get the metal printed or machined.

Does anyone know they best way to attach badges onto a car? I assume they will need some sort of backing, what is best to use?

You can use m3 tape is it. I've got a few reals of thin stuff in garage. But you could do with thicker stuff.

I remember MattyB who ads on here all the time had a crashed WRX300 about 2-3 years back , The badges and stuff he might still have.

Certainly my seat yellow decals are more faded than yours , Id be interested to get new 300 replacement mats. Part number anyone got it yet ?

I had the logo UK300 red white log made up in Silver Grey at www.subarubits.co.uk 07768445376
I applied to the sideskirt in front of the rear wheels.

UK300 grey logo added rear

UK300 Grey log added side skirt
