Default STI 2012 onwards better engines ?

Hi do the 2012 onwards stis have the same 2.5 weak engine as previous models?

Or one that has already been forged by a decent engine builder using decent components....
Something strong and mapped well..... but not modified to death should see you sorted.

If you find something, be sure to be shown all proof of work and maybe speak to the builder to see if they remember the car etc.
Cold starts of forged engines do rattle....this is piston slap and it's normal for forged pistons to do that until they warm up and expand in the cylinders.

Piston slap is harmless, doesn't sound great, but it's a trait of forging.
