Bell 980 + Vodaphone = laser alert ????
#1
Wondered if anyone else has experienced this one. Have just changed from "One to One" to Vodaphone and since then have only done a few motorway trips. Last week on my "Welsh" trip I constantly had laser alerts, mostly on motorways. I was constantly scanning bridges and layby's for "Plod", playing with his tripod, but nothing. I eventually realised that if I turned off the mobile, then it stopped. I can only assume that it was the phone latching on to the next "Cell" that was causing all the fuss. Anyone else had this happen ?

My 990 pickups up my vodaphone as Ka band, quiet useful if the phone is in the arm rest, and you cannot hear it ringing, not quite so useful if you are overtaking someone and the mobile rings though
