So long, and thanks for all the fish
Well....it's been lovely, but it's time to go.
I joined over 15 years ago and bought a 2004 WRX. Yesterday, I sold it to Max at Hurst Cars (nice chap - fair deal) and I am no longer a Scooby owner.
ScoobyNet was an amazing community in those early years, offering great advice and help through all the upgrades and tweaks.
Thanks very much to everyone who ever helped or advised me.
Thanks to everyone who ever responded to a post I made.
Thank you ScoobyNet.
Good luck and safe hooning to everyone on here. Enjoy your cars. (Especially, the next owner of mine)
I'll miss the burble, but I'm old now and as such need something a little more understated (and faster)
If anyone gets a bizarre scooby wave from a black 5 series, then you'll know it's me.
So long, and thanks for all the fish.

never too old - you'll miss it !
admittedly Impreza ownership isn't what it once was but there is something about one that no other car can evoke.
I had my first Impreza back in 1997 at the tender age of 28
I had my P1 when I was 31 in 2000
I'm now on my 5th Impreza a Hawkeye Spec C Type RA at the age of 50 and I love it - I'll never sell it, just enjoy summer Sunday mornings driving it as STI intended :-)
Good luck
