yes the right examples are difficult to come by, he has a half decent budget but He’s not paying 6/ 7k for a wrx that’s
Getting to basic Sti money plus this would be his first turbo so insurance is a little high for him also been his first one so he has to
take that into account also in his budget

but I’ve only had one message on here which I’m finding alittle supprising

Oh yeah definitely. Part of the challenge was finding the right car for reasonable money. Wasn't looking to underpay but you're right the prices people ask can vary a lot.

It was definitely worth the wait though- I love mine. Good luck with your search

I decided to go down the route of importing a blobeye WRX - arrives in Oct/Nov via Torque GT. Admittedly I am paying a bit over £7k which could be STi money (I'm not convinced you'd get a nice even non-widetrack STi for this BTW) but seeing I was after a wagon the STi wasn't really a consideration. Anyway, for my money I am getting a totally standard car in great condition with a beautifully rust-free underside. To me it's a no-brainer vs paying £4-5k for something that has lived in the UK all its life.
