Where can I store my Subaru
I have a 2004 Hawkeye that I have had for 14 years. My wife and I are divorcing so I am moving into a flat for 12 months before I buy somewhere. I have 3 kids and to be honest the Subaru I have is not suitable for long journeys to and from Manchester with the kids - I live I Surrey so its a 500 mile round trip. I am looking at getting a new car that is more suitable for longer journeys but do not want to get rid of my Subaru. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I could store it for around 12 months ? Ideally when I buy somewhere in 12 months time I can then have the Subaru back with me but with renting a flat then I only have room for one car. I live in Surrey. Any help/guidance/support would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

What sort of storage do you want? It ranges from a farmers field to air conditioned luxury. Of course you pay accordingly.
What sort of access will you want? Do you want to use the car occasionally or put it away for the duration?
Do prepare the car for storage. Battery off, fuel drained, possibly on stands to save the tyres, etc.
As a sideways thought, look up caravan storage. There should be some in your area. Another sideways one is try an old folks support group. An elderly person may let you use their drive in return for a few jobs like mowing the lawn.
btw, sorry about the divorce.

It certainly worked for me.
An elderly neighbour lost her husband and let me use her empty garage. I generally helped her and did various jobs that I would have done for her anyway. Win win.
