Prodrive sti

Going to see a Prodrive sti bug tomorrow. The owner states it has a noise off the cam pully. I know this could mean anything but anything I should be concerned about? It’s cheap but probably for a reason.

How cheap?
Could be engine rebuild time,especially as he says a noise off 'The' cam pulley.
Could also be an easy fix?

If cheap enough buy it and fix

£3800. Don’t want to have to rebuild though. It’s local so I’ll go for a look.

Sounded like bottom end knock from left side of engine. It was a bit rough but if it didn’t have that I’d have got it.
