Question Dump valve help/verification

Hi all. I currently have a v4 jdm wrx EJ20k. I am still running with a maf. Now It's suddenly dawned on me that my forge dv is fully open on idle and unless it's a twin piston (which I need help identifying) it shouldn't be open and probably why I'm having running issues. I'll see if I can post a pic of the valve and see if anyone can help me out 🙏 thanks in advance

Take it apart and give it a good clean. I'm talking brake cleaner and WD40. See if that works
