Did I read on here that we'll be able to sell stuff without paying the membership ??? When is this happening ?

They were quite adamant their current way of doing things is working. The whole you can use the site for free but have to pay to sell. Thats fine but our issues weren't about the selling it was the lack of audience.

 

Yea charging people to sell on a platform that has low traffic, compared to places like social media. It's surely going to put people off.

 

Yeah, I generally sell elsewhere, it's just quicker , cheaper and seen by more unless quite specialist.

 

I've had more interest from Ebay and Facebook groups than Scoobynet with regards to the Impreza I'm selling, says it all really.

Save your money and advertise for free elsewhere..

 

Like most companies they don't fix anything till it's broke. They might decide to make it free just before they go bust.

 

Oh well, I've put the bits on Ebay now for free and to a much bigger audience. Just thought it would be nice to give this community first shout at some rare parts but I'm not willing to pay the fee on here anymore.

 

Just stick an eBay link on here -- or is that not allowed ??

 

Yea loads of people do it.

 

Doesn't help when people on here are trying to sell something, you post a question and get no response.
That drives people away to other selling sites.
