Check for accident damage as the osf wing to bonnet is way out of line.

Being stood 2 years would also put me off unless you're happy to refresh the usual parts

Been on ebay for a while now which makes me a bit suspicious straight away as, on the face of it, it seems a reasonable price.

Carvx.jp should be your first port of call to check the jap history.

Seems odd why he'd import it then just just dry store it for 2 years before letting it go.

If it has been properly dry stored for only 2 years I wouldn't have thought it would really need a refresh of any parts other than perhaps tyres and shouldn't really need to be trailered away. If the only supposed issue is sticky/rusty brake discs a quick spin around the block would surely rectify that.

Thx Mike. The price I agree is suspiciously low.

Underseal because its a fresh import and remap for UK fuel is a must. Also check the paperwork has it been properly registered, tax and import duty paid etc. If you are after a Type R there was one for sale roughtly the same price maybe £1000 more thats been modified.

Heres the link Member Type R for sale

Its a version 3 but think it has been facelifted similarly to the one you were enquiring about.

If it was my money I know exactly what one I would be going to buy

I don't know the owner of the one I mentioned so usual caution applies
