Default Anyone fancy opening bonnet on classic ?

Afternnon
so got Subaru out from back of yard after falling out with it for a few months.
Iderling wether ever it likes 1000, 1200 1500 etc

going to start a fresh on it and my first port of call is to double check the coloured wires on the injectors to make sure there in order (chance there not)
wierdly iv switched a couple about and it’s made no difference to way it runs! Drives fine just idles horribly!

Im also not sure if the yellow injectors fitted could send the revs up on idle,

so if any one with a classic fancy’s opening there bonnet and just telling me which coloured wires go where would be highly appreciated!

The following as per wiring diagrams for MY96/97/98 for UK, Europe and General markets
Yellow or Yellow/Red wire is common to all.
plus
#1 Brown
#2 Light green
#3 Blue/Red
#4 Blue/Black

US models follow the same pattern.(Brown,Light green, Blue/White, Blue)

You mention a change of injectors - could the plug tails have been changed??

There's a massive problem with the advanced editor at the mo so probably my last post for the time being.

Check the wire colours across the engine loom to bulkhead loom plug (B22/E3 below)

Then if necessary move to the ECU and check colours at plug B137 below
