Default Fuel priming pressure

Having some cold start issues, and wondering if the fuel pressure is low when I come to crank it over.
what should it be after you’ve turned the key and let it build pressure mine goes to 2 bar before I crank it?
thanks

try priming turn it off prime straight away and see if it starts any better , other options cam or crank sensor , cam being the one i would change , does it need an ecu reset the mrs fsti was slow to start just reset and all went well , fuel cross over pipe can be an issue too

2bar is plenty to start it...so long as it primes to 2bar and stays there when the pump turns off. If it drops back down quickly (within a minute ) you have a problem (usually pressure reg).

If you can get live data off the ECU with a scan tool its worth checking a few things (assuming it has OBD) coolant temp sensor should be reading ambient, sometimes these leak a little coolant causing it to mis-read when cold which mean the engine either gets too much or not enough fuel to start. Also see if you are getting an rpm reading whilst cranking as that will indicate the crank sensor is ok (ish). I say ish as it needs to see a gap in the signal indicating top dead centre, same with cam sensor, if these don’t match up then you don’t get a spark
