Having a problem with my p1 not starting at all the battery is good basically the lights come on the dash but when I turn the key nothing I've been through a few things and found the wire that goes to the starter the spade connection one is only getting about 1.7v think this needs to be 12v when you turn the key any ideas what is causing this will be much appreciated as it's doing my head in also tried jump starting no joy also unsure if it's the alarm causing it but the fuel pump primes and I get pressure at the regulator cheers

The sigma alarm has immobilising circuits - starter and fuel pump.
With ignition off, out of gear etc., try applying +12v direct from battery to the spade terminal on the starter solenoid to see if it works.
If no then check state of charge of the battery and battery terminal condition
If yes then its a problem with the starter circuit which could be ignition switch or sigma immobiliser

Check connections on battery? Borrowed my mates civic over day stereo kept flicking off. Turned out loose negative lead. Also might be worth spraying some WD40 on terminals as I had a error code with knock sensor. Turned out it must have got wet as WD40 sorted fault out.all this info may be useless lol

If the direct feed to the starter works then its still a starter circuit problem which maybe ignition switch/wiring. What circuits does the Clifford immobilise? What model is it?
