Default Subaru Impreza 2006 JDM Hawkeye Subframe Bushes

Just A Few Questions,
Gonna be giving the Rear End of the car a Good Cleaning and Painting also gonna replace the Bushes in Subframe & Trailing Arms....etc

Is it worth Removing the whole sub frame to do this job, How hard will this be?

Being a 2006 STI Model, Can someone give me a link to the Bushes the rear sub frame takes as I've search everywhere and can't seem to find none anywhere?

Anyone used a STI Group N Diff Bracket? is this a good mod?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Superpro-...rs+Year%3A2006 - Is this correct kit for the Trailing Arms & Lateral Links

Any Advice Welcome

Cheers

Sid

I’m doing this at the moment, as yours is an STI you will probably find that it has solid bushes in the cradle which is why you can’t find any ;-)

The plan is to remove the Subframe to give it a good cleaning and paint, whilst it was removed just though it would make sense changing these Bushes as I'm hoping to install a Group N Diff Bracket, Superpro lateral link & Trailing arm bushes (would you recommend Superpro or just go with Group N Bushes) I also have Whiteline Subframe locking bolts & Superpro ARB Bushes,
Any other bushes u'd recommend changing whilst I'm at it?

Any tips how to remove Subframe? Diff?

Correct you dont need to change the solid bushes, in fact I have just upgraded to an sti subframe as it will be stiffer than poly bushes.

I also have a set of locking bolts, I havent run them yet but they should make a good difference, not sure if I would keep them in all the time on a road car from what I have read though.

To remove the subframe you will need to remove the exhaust (backbox at least), diff, driveshafts and the arms etc. Make sure you have a good breaker bar as some of the bolts will be a pig to remove, I had to use my jack handle on the breaker bar in some cases, soak everything in wd40 and be prepared to swear lol.

Dont forget the top trailing bushes, and I think the only other ones you have are the outrigger bushes, its all a bit of a pig tbf but whilst you have it all apart you may as well do everything
