Default Gear selector help

Just bought a version 2 STI WRX ... it is lovely, paid 5k for it.

I just feel like the gear selector could be smoother, the clutch is fine doesn't slip, goes through the gears okay, just did a 100 mile drive back to London.

Just feel like I need to be rough with the gear selector and really push it through the gears, is there anything I can buy, or do ... like a gear selector kit.

it sounds like you are saying gearbox is a bit stiff ?? , try a gearbox fluid change , i think there’s stuff called redline shockproof it is a gearbox additive for smoother changes but i would just change the fluid like for like and see how it goes

As above and lubricate all linkages from underneath.

I assume there is not much play in the gearstick , i know on new age the gear stick linkage can wear , so stick moves all over the place , the new age part is around 45£ brand new , it can be fitted but was a bit of a b.....r to fit on my fsti , my knowledge on non new age is not as good on the gearstick department
