£8950 for a classic ?!?
I know this is a low mileage car, but £8950 seems excessive for a 20 year old (and probably rust ridden) car....!

There’s no doubting that’s a £10k+ car though. 1 owner and 25k miles is going to be seriously few and far between.
There’s a huge amount of former Impreza owners (possibly the majority?) that never had anything to do with the imports, so there is definitely a strong market for great condition, low mileage UK cars.

There's loads of dealers buying them up. So expect prices to rise.
Seen loads of cheap ones forsale and dealers got them and relisted for 3k more.
I missed out on a nice wrx ppp for £3500 I expect to see it listed for £6000 soon.

This was being auctioned on eBay and bids got pulled after the recent news then was removed. Bidding started well and they’d easily have got the £5k for it (was at £4500 with a week to go iirc) but c19 put pay to that!

Trouble is with that model, they're proving to be a stealth rust bucket way up high in the rear wheel arches where there's a double skin. So hard to detect if you're not aware of where to look. Can't really see unless you put it on a lift (like at mot time) or take off the rear wheels and put a camera way up as far as your arm will reach. The rest of the car will be pristine tho.
