is it really worth
hi all, just a quick question...my current blob sti runs a vf35 at 340 bhp but my last blob ran a sc46 at 450 bhp......the difference in cost is like 4 grand for the sake of a second or 2 in acceleration...is it worth it?

Lol...both cars are/were tuned by scoobyclinic and I must admit that my current one which runs 340 courtesy of scoobyclinic feels only slightly slower but a lot better to drive for daily use only. I understand track use and competition racing it matters. I just didn’t expect 340 bhp to feel as quick as it does tbh. My old one was a narrow blob whereas this one is a widetrack also.
sc46 £2000

injectors £400

Just one more thing, I remember when I bought my first blob running 450 bhp and I came from a remapped spec d before which is obviously the 2.5 and the Spec d felt an awful lot quicker because of the lag on the blob. I think the sweet spot on a 2.0 is probably around the 380-400 bhp mark...I’d never go to 450 on a 2.0 again but I would on a 2.5 which I think will be my next move, 450-500 on a forged 2.5.

I bought my old blob already running 450bhp whereas with this one ive bought all the modifications. ive already been in touch with kev at scoobyclinic about getting the sc42 fitted with supporting mods but im very happy with what I have now. maybe down the line I will get abit more power but the vf35 has pleasantly surprised me.
