Default E92 M3 Opinions

I am looking for some personal experiences and opinions on the E92 M3 DCT. I currently own a 2.35 Subaru Classic with 500+bhp which is just a weekend toy and doesn't get used too often. The reason for the change is that I would like a car in which I would be happy to take on roadtrips to scotland without the worry of it breaking but I feel that after the honeymoon period of owning it that I will find the car slightly boring and dull compared to my current car.

Has anyone made the transition from a subaru to a e92 m3 and what are your opinions? did you regret it?

Everything will seem boring to a weekend car, that's the point of them surely?

I'd consider a Lexus ISF if you want something hassle free.

Can't comment on the E92. Nice problem to have though.

Yep. I went from 600bhp lightest Subaru in the UK that went round corners. Full hillclimb car. To my e46 m3. Not a decision a regret. I really enjoy the Bmw. Fantastic balance and goes very well

Hi matty, I wouldn’t want to say as I don’t think it would be fair on the new owner. There is only 2 Subaru drag cars in the uk that were lighter

Hi Joe, I have tried to send you a direct message but your inbox is full. Is there any chance you could clear some space so I can contact you.

v8 are cracking engines but have serious bearing issues youd need to be aware off/checking on any potential purchase

I used to own a e92 m3 comp pack along side my Impreza sti 470bhp and the cars were like chalk and cheese.. theres no shadow of a doubt the scooby used to annihilate the m3 on a straight road but the m3’s balanced chasis is incredible around the corners thus making a much better track car.. its really a toss up if you want power character and 4wd then stick with your scooby.. or a car which excels on the track but not so rewarding powerwise then the m3 but i found the m3 to be a car i dont think id own again unless im looking to set Nurburgring lap times! Which itll do very well!!
