Rad failed on way home
my hawk radiator went on the way home today, i nursed it home (about 2 miles) and the temp guage went just over 3/4 way up would that have caused any damage?
it seems to have split at the top just left of the bonnet catch

Shrek mate, you should be fine, you done the best thing by just nursing it back home,i have bust a radiator before on my wife’s classic and we drove back from Crawley to Epsom like that stopping off to just top the water back up.My first experience of a steam room ,We joined up with the RAC soon after that.SJ.
