Default DSG box

Is it possible to fit a DSG box in a 04 plate uk Subaru Impreza WRX/STI?

Boosted fitted a Audi 01E manual transaxle out of a B5: https://www.scoobynet.com/general-te...t=audi+gearbox

It needed a lot of work and bespoke fabrication to make it fit, but if that’s possible a DSG or maybe even a multitronic CVT could physically fit as the bolt patterns and driveshaft arrangements will be the same as the manual.

The big problem is making it work. It’d either need a aftermarket gearbox ECU or get a VAG engine ECU to run a EJ20 (mapped accordingly) which can then communicate with gearbox ECU (it uses stuff like MAF and Throttle position as well as calculated engine torque to correctly apply the clutches and select appropriate gears etc).
