Default Pulled my clutch out (picssss)

Removed my engine at the weekend to do a few jobs. Clutch had been slipping - it actually slipped on my drive home from collecting the car 6 months ago but it wasn’t really slipping unless loaded up from low revs in a high gear - car was on 70k miles but I wasn’t sure about the clutch other than going by the weight of the pedal it had been done.

Anyway, car was running just shy of 400/400. Flywheel weighs in at 8.5kg so I’ll likely go for a lighter one when refitting. Is there a go-to clutch for moderate spec road cars? This one was an exedy, unsure of mileage

Hi,

Im using the exedy pink with a 6.7kg flywheel all supplied by Alyn at AS performance.

Really nice feel to it and no heavier than standard IMO.

360 ish at the moment and planning to be about 440 when i have my turbo fitted.

Sivo,

lovely mate. How does it drive with the flywheel? Looks like mine is a lightened standard item. Ballpark cost figure for that lot? I’m expecting around £700.

Just picks up easier and feels smoother, you wont regret it, 6.7kg is spot on for a road car IMO.

£670 delivered for the clutch kit, flywheel, bearing and bolts.

That was in November last year so prices may have changed ?
