I've used Downham Market for my 90k service. They told me it would cost £550 but actually cost me on collection £690 so be wary of them!

Gary,

dont use Colchester, not very good.
Use Days of Chelmsford, very good, or why not go to scoobysport?

I was very impressed a few weekends ago, and whats better, you can chat with the mechanic as he works on your car, and you can see the care and attention that they take.

Just make sure wallet magnet Croney aint about

I had just made the decision to take my Scooby to the dealer for the 90K service.

My last Scooby I took to a non-scooby dealer and it cost me about £350 including cam belts... I was quoted £450 for the same from Sevenoaks Dealers at the taime (December 2000)... I might take this car elsewhere if that £450 is going to increase... perhaps I might ring around..

Also I am sure Walldonway wanted to charge me some ridiculas price for the P1 front mudflaps.... have heard on here of them much cheaper...

What do you expect living in the effluent South East?

Robinsons Rochdale, Northern folk salt of the Earth etc etc blah blah.

Never over a ton for a 7.5k job.

Unhappy

Subaru Aylesbury 7.5k £130 ish.

They do have a reputation for being pricy but I have always been well looked after.

Pleasant, knowledgeable and excellent service too.
