Hi all, unlucky for you and the general population my girlfriend is taking her driving lessons. Now there’s no chance she is driving my Subaru so we’re going to view this tomorrow. To be honest the Audi will be my car mostly and especially for the winter months. I want something refined with abit of poke as well but also my girlfriend will be driving it once she passed.I’m not clued up on Audi s3s but I have a soft spot for them and this is in my budget, if anyone can offer advice or what I should and shouldn’t look for I’d appreciate it.

I would check the insurance first, with a newly qualified driver on the policy I would expect an S3 to cost a fortune ?

From being an ex driving instructor , get a cheap crappy car for first few years till they learn , and yes insurance would be very high , on the cars i run they simply would not insure a new driver on them , a cheap corsa or fiesta with a small engine would be best move
