Default timing chain engine ?

been looking into buying a 2013 forester 2.0 turbo petrol which has the timing chain rather than belt , just wondering if these engines are reliable or have any issues . cheers .

As you can see from the picture they like to air there conrods on occasion, this is a Forester cross sport 2.0 turbo, not the best Subaru effort by a long way, a white goods engine if there ever was one, not designed for rebuilding, turbo sits under the sump, has its own oil scavenge pump driven off a camshaft, I certainly won't build another.
