Smile Looking good

Hello Again Troops ,
Thought I would upload some cool pictures my mate took of our recent blast up here in Bonnie Scotland. He loves a picture and this is was taken at Gleneagles train station. He built this MeV excocet kit car and it only has a 130 bhp mx5 engine in it but it can definitely hold it’s own on the twisty sections as it only weighs 650 kg ! However, he says my car sounds amazing when I pass him at 7,000 rpm!

Nice! I've been known to browse the exocet facebook forums

If I sell the scoob, I think I might have to get something like an exocet or a seven-style kit to replace it.

Default LOOKING GOOD

If you might get back into kit cars Henrik , here are two that I owned. Yellow one was a very rare MK Midi designed by a Martin Keenan and fitted with a Yamaha R 1 bike engine, power to weight was 380 per tonne. The engine sat 18 inches behind my head and redlined at 13750! On the downshift it sounded like the world was ending! I did 4,000 miles in the first 3 months of ownership,it was so addictive and was ballistic from a rolling start,60 m p h in first gear. Red one had the same engine but front mounted engine with custom prop shaft. It was built so well it was magazine featured, called an M N R Vortx. I have had a speed problem since the day I passed my test 29 years ago.................
