Wagon Heated Windscreen

Wagon Heated Windscreen
I’ve been talking with Ricky Evans Motorsport about getting some heated windscreens for my Newage Wagon’s. Sadly the minimum order quantity is 5 and I only need 2. Are there any alternatives that anybody knows of? Only options I’ve found are for the Saloon’s.

Price was £240 plus VAT plus postage so somewhere in the region of £350 per screen. They have said they’re happy to send the screens to different addresses so a group buy is an option if enough people are interested but they all need to be Newage Wagon screens.

Shame they all need to be wagons as I'm saving for a hawk one.
I am also hoping to wire into re demister.
Are there any wagon pages on Facebook? I will happily post on the Impreza & Hawkeye page if it helps

I don’t do Facebook but if you can find anybody who might be interested get them to post here. If there’s enough interest I could get back in contact with Ricky Evans to see what needs to be done about payments etc.

I had hoped they were the same but the part numbers are different and they use different trims around the screens. I even emailed Ricky Evans hoping they’d say it’d work but they said it wouldn’t hence the need for them to make them with the minimum order quantity.

Wow
Didin't realise that, assumed they were all the same. Good thing you found out before it was too late.

Is there any serious interest in getting these screens made? If there's enough numbers I could get back in contact with Ricky Evans Motorsport to get accurate pricing and timescales.

I have contacted them and they have 2 saloon screens in stock. I need the green tinted n20 one.
maybe ask if my order would go towards the 5. I'm happy to wait or I can order either way

I fitted one of these a couple of years ago. Brilliant. I wired them with Citroen 10 minute relays and a pair of little fuse boxes, dividing an 8 core wire from he battery. Then I fitted a DCCD manual switch in the spare blank slot (HID lights so no leveler switch) and used this as the trigger for the relays. Even put a wire in for the light on the switch.
Proper job. Shame I didn't take any more decent pictures of the parts and fitting.Sorry. Here it is in action. We have a Fiesta now and the screen on that doesn't work any better in similar conditions.
