Two ton one is fine.

Your car will weigh anything from 1250kgs to 1500kgs so considering you wont be lifting the whole car on the jack and you'll have atleast two wheels on the ground you won't be lifting anywhere near the capacity of the jack.

Imho if its for changing a flat at the side of the road a wee 2 ton jack would do the very best. If its for maintenance at home a 3 ton would be far better the 2 ton ones are flimsy.

I have the halfords 2 ton advanced and it's a very nice item, slips under my low car too. It is very heavy though, over 20kgs I think.

I think I have this one. Its definitely a halfords one though. Just be aware its not as fast as the racing jacks but at the same time it is no where near as big so I think thats a good trade off.

I have the 2.5 tonne SGS Aluminium jack as do a lot of people I know, looks identical to the other 2.5 tonne aluminium Jacks offered by Clarke and Sealey, assume they're just re-badged for different businesses, looks like they're out of stock at the moment though.
