Default Anyone know this sti?

Hello there.

Been out the subaru scene for a bit but got the itch again lol.

Been looking for a bit now but nothing took my fancy. I want a modified one as I will only end up doing it if I buy standard anyway ha ha.

Seen this one yesterday. Seems to have a good spec.

I've looked at the listing and when I saw the pictures it looked really familiar then realised it was Brum lol.

Can't be sure if it is the same trader because its so easy to change your name etc on ebay and make a new account. But my advice to you would be get a MOT done while you are there at a garage of your choosing. If the trader takes you to some random garage and knows the guys there, walk away.

I went and viewed this a few years ago when a lad in wales owned it. The paintwork was awful and the arches were rusty were the mudflaps go.. Mechanically it seemed ok

obviously the paint and rust could be sorted now but It wasn’t nice when I looked. Also the lad only wanted 12 for it but I’m guessing this owner has spent a few quid to be asking that for it.

Its a car trader so will be adding his mark up on it.

If you are serious about it then I can recommend a garage in Brum that does straight MOTs, they will not entertain a fake pass at all.

If the trader refuses to take it there then you know

Mine's up for sale too. It's on here for £9950. This gets you a more or less standard car with fresh MOT, a working Ricky Evans Heated front Windscreen and on decent winter tyres. 65,600 miles right now. Currently onm Manx plates though but was UK before so easy to swap. Full Alan Jeffery forged original engine. They'll be servicing it and putting the CAT on and giving it the MOT on Jan 14th. Available for immediate delivery anywhere in the UK on the next day.

One advantage of being from IOM is I'm not in any tier and can move freely. It's Taxed till October at present so I'd send you the logbook and let you sort it out (ANPR can't locate IOM plates) or sort the export cert and stuff for you. I can't tax it in UK as I have no address. Bit of a bummer.
