Default Type R DCCD with ABS

Hi all

Bit of a technical one. So decided to throw in ABS into the Type R, it didn't come with it from factory. The 5 speed has been swapped out for a 6 speed DCCD gearbox and as far as I am aware it has retained the 5x100 hubs and wasn't converted to 5x114. The reason I say this is because the hubs are non ABS and should be the original ones.

Ideally I want to keep to 5x100, can I do this by using hubs from a new age STI non wide track or is there another model I need to be looking at.

I have a classic that I am breaking but hubs are R160 can I use the fronts (assuming they are either ABS or non ABS and I can run the same brakes) and just buy rears from a newage.

Engine wiring is also being swapped over.

Thanks guys

iv got a set of R180 rear hubs off a newage sti ,,, you would need r180 to match the rear diff

they have new bearings and the backing plates are still good (not rusted out like most)

£250 plus postage

Thanks Domino, appreciate the offer but I'm spending too much money on this build. Yours would be ideal with the bearing being done but can't stretch to it right now. Would have been a good excuse to make a trip (within covid guidelines obviously lol).

How much could I sell my R180 non ABS hubs for.

Did you have factory ABS mate or did you add it after. That's my issue, car didn't have ABS from factory and current 5x100 hubs don't support ABS.

Yes already has abs, I was mainly commenting with regards to the front being 5x100

I've been thinking of going the other way and removing ABS!
