Welcome dude

Get that thing undersealed or wax coated now lol so clean. Honestly these things rot so quick underneath with our roads when they are untreated

Welcome to the club Darren. Now get an MOT and drive the thing. They’re quite a hoot!

It probably won’t do more than 1000-1500 miles a year, none of my toy cars ever see winter

Very nice mate,
it’s all road legal and I’ve had it mapped for Uk , just don’t get time to use it.

Very nice example that!
I did consider one of these myself before going for the RA, black is the best colour IMO too.
Will you be tracking it at all or is it just for the road?

I'm in the market for an S204 now, as it's been 5 years since I sold my Spec C and now have the itch again.
Seen the one Hurst have for sale and have spoken to them, but at £33K I think its quite over priced and they are not keen to do a deal it seems. Especially as they've had it for almost 2 years in stock.

@SmurfyBhoy - do you have the details for the one you know for sale? would be interested in seeing it or speaking to the owner.

I have also seen a couple of Type RA's for sale but nothing is hitting the mark just yet for me. Couple of blue ones for sale on ebay/autotrader. But one is heavily modded and both have a bit of mileage on them for my liking.

This one has been for sale for a while. It was expensive but with the prices coming up it's starting to look more attractive. HJA are known for their clean cars. This one unfortunately has coilovers which is probably why it hasn't sold. The standard suspension is available if you know where to go though.

I remember when RARs, RAs and S204s could be had for less than £30k. And even then that was considered expensive.

Are there any going through the auctions at the moment

It was an S204, a grey one. Not sure what the mileage/condition was mind you. I think he sold it though.

Thanks for all the help so far guys.

Should have mentioned that needs to be a Hawkeye again. Saw that one at HJA and yes agree they do source some very clean and unique cars, also helps they are only 20 mins away from me, should something come up with them.

Im on the case with the one in Paisley (thanks Smurfybhoy) and waiting to hear back.

Otherwise it’s back to the drawing board.
