2017+ WRX STI
Hi all,
just joined up as I am seriously considering a 2017 or 2018 WRX STI. Was wondering if there were many owners on here? Seem to be very rare! Hardly any for sale!!
Is there anything in particular to look out for over and above normal used car checks?
Seems depreciation on these is crazy slow, does that sound right?
Really looking forward to getting behind the wheel of one when lockdown eases. Fancied a scooby since my brother had a 2000 turbo is a company car way back when....
will potentially be replacing my Evora S so hope they are good!
Thanks

The reason they are rare is IM (Subaru UK) didn't import many, and for MY18 only 250? "last edition" high spec versions (Last Editions into UK/Europe due to Euro6b emissions limit for the EJ20/25 engines).

I have a 66 plate. It's the most refined scooby I've had by miles and makes a great daily driver. Needs a cat back to unlock the scooby engine notes and the sound system is rubbish but apart from that I'm really pleased with mines. Depreciation does seem to be less than the norm right now also. Like you said, best to give one a drive and see if it's for you.

Well I put down a deposit on a final edition that felt like it was too good a deal to pass up.
what online shops are good for aftermarket parts? I know nothing about Subaru!

Sorry for hijacking your thread bud. Welcome to ScoobyNet and welcome to Scooby ownership. You will not regret it. Personally i'd be reluctant to start modding a car as new as yours but i'm no expert and others on here with far more experience than me will be better qualified to offer advice.
