Default Where to get full front clip?

Wanted to inquire about any known reputable people for purchase of an entire clip.
Specifically looking for the 2.0D Boxer Diesel. Will be for export (US)

Looking into $ of the 20D into a 95/97 L Coup.
Stripped. Said and done will be 2500 lbs ish. So the engine is fair enough for a daily and get great MPG.

The boxer diesel isn't the best of oil burners, not particularly reliable, and a 2nd hand engine would be be a lottery. New ones are £10k+.

hedgecutter - haven't looked at reliability. Honestly assumed normal Subaru build quality on them. Will research this. Thanks.

Beastie - thanks for the link!

They stopped making them for a reason! I had one for 40000 miles, gutless compared with a VAG 2.0l tdi, even when custom mapped, mpg 10 lower than tdi, produced clouds of soot when booted, always worried the main bearings would go.

Cant find anywhere that says they have discontinued the EE20.
I see discussions of discontinuing but nothing factual.

So far on researching the EE20 issues.
Most seem to stem from the dpf clogging up. Which all diesels with pdf seem to have. (I would remove anyway) Other than that I really didnt find much.
Seems like the first Euro 4 issues were fixed on the subsequent Euro 5 and 6 models.

Dont want a FWD car. Hence no VW TDi.
Hmm havent looked into possibility of mating the two.

You need to look up "diesel legacy engine failure"

I had a 08 model year and the engine failed at 50K miles ( crankshaft/main bearing failure )
