Is there anywhere I can read up on the differences between the JDM 2.0L Bugeye STI engine and the JDM Spec C engine? Bonus points if there's anywhere to find differences between a standard boxer and an STI one!

I want to learn what the differences are, so far I've only seen some questionable and well debated Facebook opinions on different engine specs so I'm hoping to tap into the fabled Scoobynet knowledge base.

 

Do you mean Bugeye JDM STI vs Bugeye RA Spec C specifically? From blob on the JDM was fitted with twin-scroll turbo hardware but that wasn't confined to the Spec C.

There are some differences between the engines fitted to the Bugeye JDM, Bugeye RA, and Bugeye Spec C RA.

I’m pretty certain a JDM Bugeye STI engine is different to the Bugeye RA and Bugeye Spec C RA in more then just engine calibration, I.e. I can’t ‘just’ flash in a Spec C engine cal and have for all intents and purposes a Spec C engine.
