Exhaust backbox
Just wondered would changing just the backbox make a big difference with regards noise, currently have a prodrive one which is quiet, looking to change to blitz nur spec or similar, just wondered if the backbox is what produces all the noise. Thanks.

Thanks for the info, yes I think mine is 2.5 rather than the 3.0. I tried the tying a piece of string around the exhaust pipe to guage the size due to not finding info on my paperwork but being a prodrive exhaust I would imagine it's a 2.5.

Yes prodrive is 2.5", try to find blitz backbox only S ver.
R ver. comes with centre pipe- 2 options with 3" pipe and flange ,2nd with 3" pipe which narrows to 2.5" with 2"5 flange ,should be loud enough
i had a few ,invidia n1 race best sound on singlescroll car similar to blitz nur R with more burbles, genome is nice, afterburner vortex

deleting the centre section silencer is about a 30 per cent increase in noise , it depends on how loud you want to go , worth doing the centre section silencer first and see what you think , if you want a lot louder then do the back box too , my local exhaust place does custom systems , i’m sure there will be a place near you that can do the same , going for a wider pipe with standard power makes little difference , prodrive back boxes are quiet but well made
