Colour coding

I'm going to set about colout coding my MY99 model, mainly the skirt, mirrors and removing the door protector thing (horrible black strip moulding).
I was wondering how best this could be achieved as I've noticed that the Royal Silver paintwork I have is kinda neat paint and dont know if just ANY bodyshop would beable to do the work, would a subaru dealer undertake this kind of stuff.
Just on a side note do you guys remove the little orange thing under the front indicators or merely colour code it, now I've got clear lenses the orange really stands out and needs to go.

Subaru will probably charge you fortune, I have the same silver as you and have found a few garages near me that will do the job and it looks spot on.
The orange wedges I sprayed black and they look cool.

I'll get some pics, you don't notice them mate, it just looks like they have been removed from a distance.
I like it anyway and that's all that matters![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

I did my '98 turbo in September last year. I rang IM to ask how to get the doors to bits in order to remove the mirrors, and they were great. They faxed me a copy of the relevant pages from a manual. Got the spraying done locally. Remember to ask the guy doing the spraying to use two-part paint, and don't expect it to be cheap. Anyone who tells you that you don't need two part paint, avoid like the plague. Hope this helps.
I think mine looks cool(er) now.
