Default What car insurance options do i have ?

Ive not been in this situation before so im not sure of what options i have, i've bought a car that ive not seen yet or won't see until its been repaired, the car is in Scotland and is going direct to the tuners by trailer to have the engine assesed and to be repaired. The current owner is leaving it on his own insurance for the journey there until it arrives at the tuners. With the backlog of work that most garages have at the min the car could be with them for 1 - 2 months, obviously i'll want it to be insured while its there, do i have any other options other than to take out a full policy on the car as its not going anywhere and won't be driven. Also is it worth paying the road tax yet as again it's going to be off the road.

Thanks

You can have insurance without road tax and because it isn't on the road save yourself a few quid there. Speak to a specialist broker like Gary Moulson.

I can't imagine the price in policy difference being huge mate. But call up and see what the quote is.

The transport company will have insurance for any damage caused while delivering the car.

And I'm sure Gary can sort your insurance out no problem.
