Where should the VIN plate be on a 2008 Sti Hatchback ?
It's got me bafled, i've checked all the usual places like on the turret towers, the slam panel, the bulk head, even on both side of the door areas, not a thing, i must have a ringer 
The main reason i need it apart from the obvious is i need the exact paint code for the car which is blue.

Base of passenger side B pillar - opening both doors helps - paint code probably 02C WR Blue metallic

Don, as always your a star, thats where it is. My Scooby was parked close to my other car so i couldn't open the door all the way, i looked around the doors but not that low down as i wasn't expecting it to be that low on the car. Yeh the paint code is 02C, i presume thats Zero 2 C and not the letter O 2C.

When i originally checked the car when buying it i checked the VIN on the logbook against the VIN number on the windscreen, i'd already done a HPI check prior to travelling .....

You may find there are various shades of 02C, some with finer metallic, others slightly redder........
